Border Collies - Stock Dogs

pearl - stock dog - Fearless Cattledogs This is Pearl at work.
Pearl is the dam of Lucy (Pearl X Odie). Lucy sold in the 2003 Red Bluff Sale for a new record high of $10,400. Robin Nuffer was the owner/trainer and she was purchased by Shirley Hindman. Pearl is slick haired and prick eared. She has a lot of hard bite on both ends especially the nose. She has a lot of style with just the right amount of eye.

Pearl is a litter mate to Bee, 2000 LSCDF finalist and full sister to Penney, 3rd in 2003 LSCDF finals.

Fearless Cattledogs This is Maggie at work.
Maggie has had 2 finalists in the LSCDF (Bee and Penny). Maggie is a slick haired daughter of L.R. Alexander's Griz.  She bites clean; right on the end of the nose, and heels low.  She has worked cow/calf pairs most of her life and has no fear! She has produced many tough cattle dogs working in Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.  Maggie will have an October litter by Imp. McCoy.  This litter is a proven cross and will be nominated to the 2004 LSCDF.

Award winning Border Collies This is Bee biting a front foot at LSCDF.
Bee is out of Maggie and by our Imp. McCoy.  When she was only eighteen months old she placed fifth in the LSCDF 2000 finals.  From Bee's first litter she has produced an LSCDF finalist. Several trainers at the futurity told us she is one of the toughest cow dogs they have ever seen!  She bites right on the end of the nose, drops off, hits the front foot, then heels.  Ask anyone who has seen her work!  Her first litter was by HatsOff Bill, the 2000 LSCDF maturity winner.  This litter will be nominated to 2003 LSCDF.  We have bred Bee to Casey Rindall's Cap.  This will be a December litter.

Meredith Rose and Grace Anne with puppies

Bee has a New Litter!
Bee (mentioned above) recently had a new batch of puppies this December...11 to be exact. No doubt about it...these pups are born to herd and will make great stock dogs.

(Here are our Granddaughters, Meredith and Grace, socializing a couple of Bee's puppies).

working cow dogs This is Midge at work.
Midge is a big slick haired daughter of Eric Wanman's Willie.  Willie is one of the top cattle dog producers in the nation.  Her dam Lena is a tough cow dog, who sold for $5,000 at the Red Bluff sale.  Lena is also a litter mate to Kenneth Beasley's Zeke, winner of the Red River Classic with a purse of $9000.  Midge bites hard and can cover a lot of ground.  We plan to breed her to Casey Rindale's Cap in October.

LSCDF finalists This is Gail at work.
Gail is a daughter of L. R. Alexander's Griz.  Gail has worked hard all her life.  She was used on a large cow/calf operation in Oklahoma.  She has also worked stockyards, in alleyways, and in pens.  She bites hard and is extremely tough.  Gail is the producer of two LSCDF finalists by Mike Ridenhour's Odie.  She is a litter mate of the dam of Casey Rindal's Cap.  Gail will have an October litter by Imp. McCoy.

Rose - LSCDF finalists Lucien Cooper's "Rose" at the LSCDF.
Rose is a daughter of Bee and was a finalist in the 2003 LSCDF.  Rose is an outstanding young cattle dog. No doubt, we will see much more of her in the future!
